Class 10 Board exams UP started on March 3, 2014 and ended on March 21, 2014 , with 14 test dates . Tests were conducted in two shifts, the first shift was from 7:30 am to 10: 45 pm , while the second round was 14:00 to 17:15 .

This year 59, 254 students appeared for 10th class, of which 30,368 were males and 28,886 were girls. Compared to 2,013 board examinations , nearly 9.5 percent increase in students seeking class 10 and class 12 exams witnessed this year.
UP Board HSC/ 10th Results to be declared tomorrow
The results of the UP Board Exams 2014 Class 12 were declared on May 25 . The results showed the percentage of girls score higher than boys step.

The overall pass percentage this year for a total of 30.48 lakh students had appeared in the exams was 92.21 , down 0.47 percent from the previous year. Around 28.10 lakh assured them tick marks needed , said state director of Secondary Education and Chairman of Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Shail Kumari Yadav .

However, the pass percentage of girls ( 95.31 ) remains higher than that of boys ( 89.81 ) , consistent with a trend that has been discernible for years.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Board had increased the number of examination centers for consideration of the Board 2013-2014 for 13 sites , giving a total of 229 examination centers available .
